2008 Season Sign Up Information

Tackle Football (boys ages 6-11, age as of September 1, 2008)

Flag Football (boys ages 4-5)

Cheer (boys and girls ages 4-11)

BYA offers football and cheer to children in Burleson, Alvarado, Joshua, Cleburne.

Pricing:

Football (Flag) Ages 4 & 5          $50.00   $60.00 after 5/31/08

Football (Tackle) Ages 6-11        $80.00   $95.00 after 5/31/08

Cheer (Returning Cheerleaders) $25.00   $35.00 after 5/31/08

Cheer (New Cheerleaders)          $90.00   $100.00 after 5/31/08

·         Tackle Football Uniform includes:  Two Jersey’s & one pair of Game Pants, socks and 7 piece hip pad set. 
Additional equipment required to participate includes safety equipment (remaining pads, helmet**) and football cleats.

 

·         Flag Uniform includes: One Jersey, one pair of shorts and flag belt.

 

·         Cheer Uniform (new cheerleaders) includes: Shell, Skirt, Briefs, Socks, and Poms. Additional items required include shoes.

 

·         Returning Cheerleaders can purchase replacement uniform pieces as needed.

 

·         Registration includes a mandatory fundraiser.

 

**Note, special required items that will be a required purchase directly through BYA (New Helmet prior to 5/31/08 - $64.00, after 5/31/08 - $74.00D). Returning players that purchased their 2006 or 2007 helmets will not be required to purchase another helmet for 2008 provided their helmet still fits properly.

 

 
Sign Up Dates, Times & Location:

(Please bring your child with you to sign ups so that they can be fitted for their uniform.

Cheerleaders need to wear a swimsuit under their clothing for uniform fittings.)

Location - Burleson’s Bartlett Park, in or near the Whitley Building

(Located on Summercrest Blvd.)
Dates:                      May – Saturday May 3rd, May 10th, May 17th & May 31st - 10:00-2:00 pm

 

Late Sign Up DateD:          July – Saturday July 12th – 10:00-2:00 pm

Online Sign ups: www.bya.org (open now through late sign ups).  Note with online sign ups, you will still need to bring your child to one of the sign ups noted above for sizing.

BYA Football and Cheer are now a part of the North Texas Youth Football Association. 

We will play teams in Arlington, Crowley, Mansfield, Fort Worth and Grand Prairie.

Players registered in May will have the opportunity to attend a free football camp at TCU sponsored by North Texas Youth Football and supported by TCU players.
