Applicants must be high school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and be planning to enroll in a full-time program at an accredited four-year college or university.

**Award Details:** The BYA Scholarship Program offers a one-time award of up to $500 to help cover tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses.

**Application Process:** The application window typically opens in Fall and closes in Spring. The process involves submitting an online application, including academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a personal essay detailing the applicant's aspirations and how they align with the program's values. Finalists may be invited for an interview.

**Impact:** Since its inception in 2015, the BYA Scholarship Program has awarded $30,000 IN scholarships to 60 deserving students, helping them to attend top institutions and make significant contributions in certain fields.  The program's success is measured not only by the financial assistance provided but by the lasting impact its scholars have on their communities and the world.

Harvest House Donation

BYA has always understood the importance of giving back to the community.  Since its inception in 1976. BYA has donated to local charities and schools.  BYA has a standing ongoing pledge to donated $2 per registrant to the Harvest House of Burleson.  Last year (2024), BYA donated $8,672.00 to the Harvest House of Burleson.  Even though Harvest House of Burleson is located in Burleson, it helps in surrounding communities and counties as well.

Harvest House Mission: To provide basic necessities, spiritual encouragement, education, and care to individuals and families in our community by following Biblical principles. They provide food, clothing, and financial assistance to the most vulnerable residents in our community.

Harvest House Vision: To help families break the cycle of hopelessness by providing resources that assist in restoring their dignity and independence.

Harvest Values: Harvest House will implement its mission and vision in three ways: by sharing the love of Christ through words and actions, by maintaining integrity and transparency in all matters, and by partnering with sister organizations who encourage nutritional, financial, and spiritual restoration.
