PROGRAMS

Program One

The BYA Cheer program offers recreational cheer to children ages 4-12. Cheerleaders are taught basic skills and use those skills to cheer on the BYA football teams during the Fall season. Our goal is to teach cheer techniques in a fun and non-threatening environment where every child can be successful. The focus of the BYA program is on developing good life skills through the sport of cheer.

Key characteristics of Cheer:

Cost: The fee to be a cheerleader will vary from season to season. Please see current offering for current pricing.

Season: The games are on Saturdays starting Labor Day weekend and running through the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Practices: Practice schedules are determined by the coach.

Coaches: Coaches are an important part of our success! We welcome new coaches and offer a coaching clinic to those interested in coaching. Please contact VP of Cheer if you are interested in coaching or have questions about registration.
